About Our Village
Steeped in tradition, PACHADY village nestles between Munnar and Thekkady. Here, farming runs deep. Generations have cultivated an abundance of spices – pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, cocoa, and coffee – their legacy etched in the fragrant earth. While some younger folks seek new horizons, many proudly carry the torch of this age-old practice.
PACHADY isn’t just about the homestay. Unveil hidden gems waiting to be explored! Hike to the cascading Thooval Waterfall, marvel at the panoramic vistas of Ramakkalmedu, or challenge yourself on the adventurous terrain of Chathurangapara. Monsoon or Rainy season usually starts from June first week and lasts till October. Average temperature during this season ranges from 15 to 25 degree Celsius and average Rainfall is ranging from 200 to 250 Centimeter. Both Days and Nights are Cool.

Winter Season
Winter season usually starts from November first week & lasts till February. Average temperature during this season ranges from 15 to 29 degree Celsius and average rainfall is ranging from 15 to 30 Centimeter. Days are warm and Nights are very cool.

Summer Season
Summer season starts from March first or second week and lasts till May. Average temperature during this season ranges from 23 to 32 degree Celsius and average rainfall is ranging from 20 to 40 Centimeter. Days are hot and nights are cool.

Thooval Waterfall
Situated 3 Km away from Village Homestay in Idukki, Thooval water fall offers stunning view from the top of the fall. Best season is from May to December.

Ramakkalmedu

My wife and I want to express how much we enjoyed our stay here. Many thanks to Aneesh and family. Absolutely awesome place. We truly enjoyed the time we had as it was a quick and short planned trip to Idukki .

Highly recommended. We spent two nights in their home and were made to feel as if it was our home !. Wife of Aneesh and the 3 kids were amazing hosts including Aneesh himself. Definitely going there again
